He Walks!
This clip includes his first successful set of steps along with a few failed attempts. At the end of the video is a short clip showing him on his bouncing zebra. He loves that thing.
Actually, I take back what I said was my favorite part...I just watched it again, and the best part is clearly when he thinks he is still in his bouncer.
Wow, when did this happen??? I was probably just sitting around picking my butt not realizing that just an important event was going on just a few miles north!
Julian probably has plans to travel the world, now that he can walk AND he has a zebra to ride.
lol. For a moment there, I thought Alex had amnesia.
His very first step was not caught on video. It happened only five minutes earlier. I just let go of him and then he stared at his feet for a while. Then he looked up at me, smiled, and took two steps before stopping and bouncing (and falling).
I have watched this video many times and every time it’s like the first. I see him and can’t help thinking “he’s going to make it this time…” “yes, yes,…, he’s getting it…” and bang, to the floor on his butt he goes! So cute!
Nan, your timing with the video was great. Thanks for posting this.

Oh man! Congratulations Julian! You've done it! You've finally joined the world of upright walkers. Good job at nabbing your evolutionary birthright.
Great video Nan...loved all the failed attempts. My favorites are when he just sits down and starts crawling.

Sorry, that last comment was me, JB--not alex. And this one too.

Julian walking! What a milestone!
what's amazing is how sometimes he manages to stay standing even after bouncing with excitement!
