Almost. Not really. I mean, obviously these aren't meaningful smiles, but they're super cute nontheless. Unfortunately, I never have the camera at the right moment and the lighting is never right...one day I'll get a good one.

On a more interesting note, last night marked yet another occasion when I thought the house was being broken into. I woke up at 12:30am to a commotion that I thought was coming from downstairs. Alex said the noise had come from outside and told me to look out into the backyard. We saw that a car smashed through the fence of the our next door neighbor and had driven into the house. The driver ran away and just left the car there, door open and lights on. Fantastic. Poor neighbors.

I´m back!

Hi everyone!, I´m back on the blog (thanks Nan, I promise I wont forget my password this time!, ha!). So...did you miss me?!, I sure did miss you!. It´s been a long time, I´ll post a picture, so you can remember my face...an unforgettable face in that picture by the way, with santi´s unforgettable face too!, haha.

There! I finally did it! I cartoonized Julian's face! He has THE most difficult face to do that to. Now Alex, I need a bunch of pictures of you, I don't have any that have a high enough resolution to cartoonize... you're the only one left! (Except JB deserves a redo since she was the first one i did and it was so terrible).

Juanse's first month!!

Healthy people:
Today I woke up a victim of THE MOTHER OF ALL COLDS. I was, obviously, confined to a very lonely (and far away) place of the house, being able to only bring my computer to go through my times of TOTAL ISOLATION. So I decided to post a couple of pics as an update on juanse's 30 days life.
I'm not sending kisses to everyone this time... you might catch the same cold.

Nina Update

We went to the pediatrician today for Nina's 2-week check-up and I was happy to hear that my breasts are not just full of air and that she's actually receiving some nutrients and growing properly. A relief!

New weight: 8 lb. 9 oz. (more than 1 oz. gained per day!)

New height: 22 inches

New head: 35 inches (her original head was 34 inches, which I didn't know)

Her umbilical cord has come off and tonight she'll be getting her first bath!
