The Real Deal

Who could forget that night? I know I won't. That was the best night of my life. Everyone was complaining about how chilly it was and felt inclined to wear long sleeves and pants, but I sacrificed warmth for style and sported only a skirt and short sleeved shirt... I had to compensate for the fact that apparently everyone collaborated and decided to match wearing pale greens, grays, and blues.

Thank god for photoshop, otherwise I really would have missed out!

Juan & Xime in DC, the Royal Visit

Thanks to Juan & Xime, the family has been in a constant state of partying and celebration. Being the first visitors to DC, they got the royal treatment, unlike whoever follows them which will probably be left off at some metro station with a used map and vague instructions on how to get anywhere. On behalf of the Old People (Mom and I), we thank the Young People for making us part of all this, as if we were relevant. We love you. Good kids.

Pincha again!

Amazing. For the third time this tournament, Estudiantes came back at the last minute. This time, it was enough to qualify them for the quarterfinals of the Copa Libertadores. They won in the 90th minute with a goal from Pavone. All of the last minute successes came in front of a home crowd and the celebrations looked incredible on TV. These incredible games are quickly becoming legendary among the followers of Argentine soccer. For more, read this.
