In view of the recent Fantastiko meltdown, I’ve decided that we should try something a little different. Welcome to 603 Beech Street. Although it’s not the real Bozzolo home in Oberlin, the blogosphere version is also sure to delight.
Now that we’re scattered throughout the globe (hopefully temporarily), we need a place to have some words fly around in typical Bozzolo fashion—ensnared in fervor, logic, and humor.
Here’s my thought: 603 Beech Streeters—anyone who one might find chatting away at the famed Bozzolo abode—are free to come and go as they please, all with regular author privileges, to post anything from curious reflections on the humdrum of daily life to spanking new thoughts on happenings around the world.
Have you been lured?
I’ll be here, posting as often as I did on Fantastiko when it was in its prime. Feel free to join me or just read along.
Nan

O happy, happy day. Now all I need to do is go get some Cinny Toast Crunch, some Tang, and a TV Guide to draw some mustaches on, and it will be just like a virtual sleepover. Every night! Thanks, Nan!! Let the good times roll!
Hot dog, I'm in!
I say I sit on the counter in front of the dishes, Nan sits on the counter in front of the glasses with his legs up so no one can pass (and when someone asks to pass you pretend like you don't hear them the first time), Carl you get the end stool by Nan where you can't lean on the counter too hard, Mom will be in hanging out in front of the oven (for warmth?), Carla you sit next to Carl on the middle stool reworking the TV Guide cover, Nati you're by the phone because it's probably for you anyway, Dad you hang out at the end of the table next to the picture wall (or, alternatively, you can eat toast at the sink), Dawn you're in the chair right behind Carl but you'll have to face the counter.
Places everyone!!
Ta DAH!!
Now this is my kind of blog. Not that I was hatin' on Fantastiko, but the political mumbo jumbo gets me all sorts of rawled up and then I find myself spinning in circles in one place. I most definitely prefer the comfort of my own home, w/ family and friends congregated by the counter. This "comment" is the calm before the storm, the storm I like to call, "Hurricane natalia" because I'll be posting this time around like a swirling vortex. No worries, nothing political, nothing controversial, all TLC.
Oh man.... the whole idea behind this blog (especially JB's setup)has made me incredibly nostalgic. You've all (Nan, Carl, Natalia, JB) have had a chance to detach yourselves from our home in OBland, but i'm struggling here!! But it's all good, cause this blog is sure to keep the 603 Beech St spirit alive! I'm looking forward to adding this page to my favorites list and obsessively checking for new postings and comments as I procrastinate during the weekdays!
I completely share Carla's feelings. When I started reading this blog, a knot developed in my throat but I think this is good therapy to shake out the ghosts of "what it was" and to make some room in our spirits for what's coming.
Nan, I just knew it was not going to take you long to come up with something post-Fatastiko.
Great idea!
I just need to come up with a picture to top JB's. Lovely!!!
Yes, that's my "thoughtful" picture. So, whenever you read a comment of mine you can see how I'm truly pondering. You can see Carla's hair in the bottom there, she's looking straight at the camera--unlink ANYONE else in that picture. I almost left her in there, but I didn't want to confuse you guys as to who JB is and who that other girl is.
Authors,
This is as good a time as any to lay down a reasonable, time-tested 24-rule: please allow appropriate reading time for each new topic. If we could let a new topic have the spotlight for a good 24-hours before starting a new thread, we can avoid topics being overlooked.
Thanks.
