Diary of a Young Genius

Okay, really quick: I decided to add something to the sidebar--my diary entries from 1988. Some are pretty funny, others kind of sad. I'm going to do my best to be faithful to the spelling and capitalization, but sometimes it's hard to tell exactly what I was writing. We see some familiar themes come up this year: me wanting a dog, me playing with Ann, me hating/loving mom, dad, nan, nati, and carla. I had so much to think about!

Did you write fairly regularly? If so, you could always put the "17 years ago today" entry up whenever you had one.

Also, if at all possible, please try excluding any information that reflects negatively on me. I'm a strong man, but sensitive to criticism.

What do you think the scratched out word is? The jump from the missing word to "I LOVE MOM AND DAD" is enormous.

I didn't write regularly enough to really make this a steady stream of funnies. However, I would like to give 9-year-old JB props for writing as often as she (I) did. I just plan to pick out the good ones and change it up every week or so.

I love the idea!
Specially when ending with "I love Mom & Dad!"

No mom, ending w/ "I LOVE MOM AND DAD!" don't ignore the all-caps. You must've allowed jb to stay up a little later that night.
