My infrastructure got the best of me again, i'm afraid, and neither cell phone airtime nor internet access were available to me on your birthday. Still, I was thinking about you all that day. Mostly because your fate is my own, agewise, and I'm still in the process of coming to terms with it.
So a belated happy birthday on my part. Here's wishing that I were a little closer to share our joint stepping over the next threshold of aging. I had really been looking forward to it. Maybe next decade.
Also, I'm so glad we can at least virtually monitor Nina's amazing development until we get back.
In the meantime, keep on posting. Here's thinking of you (all).
