We went to the pediatrician today for Nina's 2-week check-up and I was happy to hear that my breasts are not just full of air and that she's actually receiving some nutrients and growing properly. A relief!
New weight: 8 lb. 9 oz. (more than 1 oz. gained per day!)
New height: 22 inches
New head: 35 inches (her original head was 34 inches, which I didn't know)
Her umbilical cord has come off and tonight she'll be getting her first bath!

Yeah, she definitely looks like both Alex and JB now. Last night I had a dream that she spoke Latin and offered to edit my draft report for me. I declined, but only because I thought there was a good chance she'd poop or spit-up on it.
I agree with her grandmother. Most revealing picture yet. Nice job on the feeding/growing project -- keep up the good work!
