Thanks to Juan & Xime, the family has been in a constant state of partying and celebration. Being the first visitors to DC, they got the royal treatment, unlike whoever follows them which will probably be left off at some metro station with a used map and vague instructions on how to get anywhere. On behalf of the Old People (Mom and I), we thank the Young People for making us part of all this, as if we were relevant. We love you. Good kids.

Wow, who's house is that in the top picture? Gorgeous...
Juan and Xime: it was a pleasure to have you guys around (I should say "is a pleasure," since you are still here). You were very easy guests--willing to do anything!! Can't wait until your second royal visit.
Guillaume, you look great in this picture! I think we should frame it.
Ditto... Juan and Xime, always remember that mi casa es su casa. Please don't forget to post all of your pictures (Yahoo! photos, or something) for all to see. You made DC look so nice w/ your new camera.
Thanks Natalia! You're so beautiful in the picture, where did you get that tan????
all jokes aside, it was great meeting Juan and Xime- wonderful people, of course, from a wonderful family.
From one tennis hopeful to another, juan- drink fluids for the cramping. Xime, you still have plenty of things to see in DC.. I don't think you visited the Museum of Handcrafts, Hobbies, and Recyclables. You can leave it for next time.
See you guys tonight!
This is our last night in DC and we already miss you guys!!!
What's to be said after spending the best 13 days ever? Nothing but thank you, thank you and thank you.
We will definetly remember this trip as the one in which we felt that we were leaving home as we were going home. nuff said.
Juan & Xime.
PS: what ever happened to polio, the mens purse, a red moustache, danger (with french accent), Beatles, great pizza and chicken, one bad ass TV!!! and Cilantro's are just a few things that I'm sure we'll cherish (so cheesy) for the rest of our lives.
