You either just found out or are about to. Fetus Alpha can now be referred to as Mr. Fetus Alpha. You should know that his head is normal size (thank God), his weight and organs are normal, and he is very active in there. He wouldn't stop moving! Lots of feet pulling and waving his arms above his head. Very exciting stuff! Now we just have to see what unique mixture of Hernandocity and Dawnacity he develops.
Let the name game begin...

Exciting!
I don't understand picture 3 at all--where's he's yawning. Looks like a lot of small bits in there...
Can you make the larger images available somewhere or just email them? I'd like to investigate further.
Whoa!! I'm super excited and so incredibly happy. It's amazing the overwhelming joy and love that has totally taken over, just seeing those pictures (which are a bit confusing).
Names!!!!! Here are my immediate favorites (to go w/ last name 'Bozzolo'- which ain't easy) in random order:
Nicolas R. Bozzolo
Marcos R. Bozzolo
Tristan R. Bozzolo
and of course there is always 'alejandro.'
i'm thinking of more....
That is one handsome fetus! It's a good sign that he wouldn't stop moving, that just means he's bound to be a star soccer player! (That was the first thing Rolo said when he found out)
About the names, if you guys decide on one soon, are you going to tell us or are you going to wait until he's born?
JB: That picture is odd because what happened was that he moved away from the surface where the ultrasound waves were hitting, so the top of his head is in the shadows and you can't see it. He lifted his head just as she snapped the picture. The original picture doesn't help unfortunately.
Natalia: Nice names. I like Nicolas.
Carla: His feet are also huge. I didn't send post a picture of them, but I have a really good one from the side. On revealing names: What do you prefer? Do you guys want to know or not? (We haven't decided yet, though we're quickly narrowing it down.)
I want to know! Because then we can start calling him by his real name rather than Mr. Fetus Alpha
I also think he is beautiful although, like most of you tried VERY hard to identify what’s what in the picture. It is simpler and more straight forward when you are seeing it live because it gives you a better sense of dimension and perspective. I’m with JB. Let’s explore this better and get proficient on the subject since hopefully, many more sonograms are in the horizon for this family.
Names: I am going to be so bad at that game! I like Marco, but…are you going Italian?
Again, he is very cute even though nameless.
Nan & Dawn,
I'm speechless...Do you know how it feels to see your grandson for the first time? (the original picture from months ago had emotional value galore, but not much pictorial density...). Let me tell you: one of the highlights of anybody's life.
Knowing the sex and seeing these new pictures...it feels so real now. I'm truly moved. I love you all!!!
NAMES! Ok. There's one that I always liked, it's italian and it might not make the list, but at least consider it: Tiziano.
Ok. There. If you don't like it, I'll get myself a pet or something and call it Tiziano. He'll spend his life spelling it for everybody, but I can assure you, it's worth it!!
You're making us very, very, very happy.
Love
DAD
You should tell us what you're seriously considering, but not the final decision. Unless you're ABSOLUTELY SURE you won't change your mind about it.
For some reason, the only name that comes to mind is 'Romulus'. I wouldn't consider that one too seriously though. It's weird.
I agree w/ Carla. Anything is better than Mr. Fetus Alpha. Poor kid, not even born and already is the subject of Nan's humor- which is an acquired taste.. Lucky for him, he'll be perfect in every way. At least tell us what you have in mind, so in case you're going with names like Adolf or Lucifer, we can maybe persuade you otherwise.
Yeah, I like Marcos. and Nicolas... what are you guys thinking at least?? Please don't say Eric- i hate that name!
Romulus. Jb.. those names should obviously be saved in case one of us has twins (remus and romulous).
Dad, I think Tiziano is a beautiful name.
Not Eric...
...and not Adolf or Lucifer. We are considering some spanish names right now, and one or two italian. I'm not sure Dawn and I have talked about it enough to present solid choices. We have to decide exactly what the short list is. I know we strongly overlap, but we can probably narrow it down further before letting anyone know.
